Life can feel like a storm—full of unexpected winds, waves of anxiety, and shifting circumstances. But when we are anchored to Christ, we have a steady hope that keeps us grounded no matter what comes our way.
An anchor keeps a ship from drifting, and in the same way, Jesus holds us firm when everything around us is shaking.
Hebrews 6:19 - “Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil.”
When we place our faith in Christ, we are not tossed around by fear or uncertainty. He becomes our foundation, our peace in the chaos, our strength when we feel weak.
1 Corinthians 15:58 - “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”
Being anchored to Christ doesn’t mean life will be easy - but it does mean we won’t be alone. He holds us, guides us, and keeps us steady through it all.
So when storms come, don’t panic - hold fast to Jesus.
He is your anchor. He is your unshakable hope.
