At the heart of the gospel is this powerful truth: Jesus is our Redeemer. He saw our brokenness, our sin, and our need...and chose to step in and make a way for us to be free.
To redeem means to buy back, to rescue, to restore. That’s exactly what Jesus did for us through His sacrifice on the cross.
Ephesians 1:7 - “In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.”
We couldn’t save ourselves. But Jesus, full of mercy and love, took our place. He paid the price we never could, giving us a new identity...redeemed, forgiven, and free.
Galatians 3:13 - “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree.”
He didn’t just rescue us...He restored us. Now we can walk in freedom, knowing our past no longer defines us. We belong to Him.
Psalm 107:2 - “Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy.”

So today, lift your head. You are redeemed. Not because of what you’ve done, but because of what Jesus has done for you.
You are loved. You are chosen. You are His.
